Personalized care to help you achieve your goals.

Background

I'm a board-certified adult psychiatrist experienced in treating people with a range of mental health challenges. I see my work with each person as a partnership intended to foster individual strengths and respect individual preferences.

I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College. I completed psychiatry residency training at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior where I served as Program Chief Resident and Chief Resident of Community and Global Psychiatry. I received additional training in psychotherapy. In addition to clinical work, I supervise and mentor psychiatry residents.

The care I provide is collaborative and trauma-informed, utilizing a holistic approach that prioritizes individual needs and is evidence-based. I see people for psychotherapy, medication management, and psychiatric consultations for a wide-variety of circumstances, including but not limited to, life transitions, stress, grief, and mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

I view people as nuanced and resilient, shaped by experience, not as a set of symptoms or a diagnosis. I am committed to listening, providing honest and empathetic reflection, and supporting your goals.
